Setting the Course for 2026

A new year is a natural moment to reset, not with big promises, but with clear priorities.

In 2026, we’re focusing on the foundations of modern work: the devices people rely on, the connectivity that keeps teams moving, and the platform that brings visibility and control. Our resolutions this year are simple: remove friction, reduce complexity, and make everyday work feel lighter, so your organization can move faster, stay secure, and stay competitive.

DaaS: The hidden cost of “still works fine”

We are redesigning how work is done: a hybrid, digital, and AI-assisted approach

At solcentrix, we work with organizations that are actively investing in this transformation, new tools, new workflows, and new expectations around speed, flexibility, and security

However, we often see one crucial aspect being overlooked: how work actually feels to the people doing it, day after day. The experience is shaped long before a process or application comes into play; it starts with the device an employee powers up in the morning and relies on throughout the day.

An older device may still turn on. Emails sent. Meetings run. On paper, everything works. From an operational perspective, nothing is officially broken. But in reality, friction creeps into every task: slow startups that stretch the beginning of the day, lagging applications that interrupt focus, short battery life that limits mobility, and compatibility gaps that require constant small workarounds. Minutes are lost, day after day, across every employee, not dramatically, but constantly.

This is the hidden cost of “still works fine.” Not failure but drag.

Continuing to accept this drag slows you down, puts you behind today’s pace, and makes you less competitive.

Outdated devices increase IT support effort, limit security posture, and quietly erode employee experience. They make modern work feel heavier than it should, even as organizations invest in better tools, better processes, and better ways of working.

For 2026, we are setting a clear goal: to stop accepting this drag as inevitable

We commit to managing device lifecycles proactively, aligning performance, security, and energy efficiency with how people actually work today. Not reacting when devices fail, but acting before friction becomes normal

In 2026, modern work demands modern endpoints. Devices must be built for today’s realities: AI-driven applications, secure cloud access, and seamless collaboration, while consuming less energy and requiring less manual support. Our goal is to make this alignment predictable and continuous, shifting the conversation away from ownership and age toward outcomes: performance, security, and how work feels every single day.

CaaS: Work no longer has a location: Why does connectivity still act as it does?

The way we work has changed permanently, faster than our networks have. Teams are mobile, offices are fluid, and business opportunities appear wherever momentum exists, not where infrastructure was planned years in advance. At solcentrix, we see this shift reflected in how organizations operate and how quickly they need to move.

Yet connectivity is still too often treated as a rigid foundation. Fixed lines, long provisioning cycles, single-provider dependencies, and location-bound designs no longer reflect how organizations actually work today. We regularly encounter situations where teams are ready to start, scale, or relocate, but connectivity becomes the limiting factor.

For temporary sites, distributed teams, or new locations across borders, waiting weeks or months for connectivity isn’t just inefficient, it actively holds the business back. It introduces uncertainty, slows decision-making, and forces teams to plan around infrastructure instead of focusing on outcomes.

Our 2026 resolution at solcentrix is to remove connectivity as a constraint.

We commit to designing connectivity that adapts to the business, available when work begins, resilient when conditions change, and secure wherever work happens.

In 2026, connectivity must adapt to the business, not the other way around. Mobile-first, centrally managed connectivity enables organizations to deploy teams instantly, scale across geographies, and maintain a consistent experience, without disruption, delay, or compromise.

Connectivity-as-a-Service, for us, is not about chasing higher bandwidth numbers. It’s about removing location, delay, and uncertainty as constraints, so connectivity supports modern work instead of defining its limits.

Our OSCAR Resolutions for 2026: Built Together with You

A new year always brings new goals.

For our OSCAR team, 2026 is about one thing above all else: making OSCAR more intuitive, clearer, and better to work with, for the people who use it every day.

We listen. We analyze. We implement.
Your feedback shapes OSCAR. In 2026, we’re investing even more time in understanding how you actually work with the platform: where things flow, where they don’t, and what could be simpler. User-friendliness and experience are at the heart of everything we improve.

We’re making daily work feel lighter.
Fewer clicks, clearer navigation, smarter workflows. We’re refining the areas you use most: ordering, approvals, lifecycle management, so OSCAR supports your work instead of slowing it down.

We’re bringing clarity where it matters.
Devices, costs, contracts, usage  everything belongs together. This year, we’re improving how data comes together in OSCAR, so insights are easier to understand and decisions easier to make.

We’re strengthening what’s already working.
International setups, compliance, security – these remain core strengths of OSCAR. In 2026, we’ll continue to make them more intuitive without adding complexity.

We’re building OSCAR with you, not just for you.
Every improvement has one goal: helping you stay in control while your organization grows and changes.

Our promise for 2026:
Less complexity. More clarity. And a digital workplace you actually enjoy working with.

We will keep listening.
We will keep improving.
And we will keep building OSCAR together with you.

New CEO Board at sector27

We are pleased to share an important leadership update from our partner sector27 GmbH, marking a forward-looking generational transition designed to ensure long-term continuity and future growth.

As part of this carefully planned succession, long-standing Managing Directors Christoph Hundenborn and Harald Kiy stepped back from their operational roles as of January 1, 2026. Both remain with the company in an advisory and representative capacity, ensuring continuity and the transfer of experience.

Bernhard Husse and Jens Tintrup, previously authorized signatories (Prokuristen), department heads, and members of the management board, have been appointed as the new Managing Directors. With many years of leadership experience within the organization, they bring deep expertise while continuing sector27’s established values and strategic direction.

This leadership transition marks a new chapter for sector27 – combining fresh perspectives with a proven company philosophy. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the new management team.

We’re heading to MWC 2026 in Barcelona!

From 2 – 5 March, we’ll be back at MWC Barcelona, once again joining forces with our strategic partner sector27. You’ll find us at the NRW stand (CS318), where we’ll be showcasing how secure, compliant, and future-ready IT works in the real world – not just on slides.

This year, MWC Barcelona puts the spotlight on intelligent infrastructure, AI-driven operations, and secure global connectivity. Together with sector27, solcentrix will be right at the heart of these conversations, showing how modern enterprises can turn connectivity and data into real operational value.

At the stand, we’ll be giving a live demo of OSCAR, our Asset and Expense Management platform, which gives organizations full visibility over devices, contracts, and costs – enabling smarter, data-driven decisions and AI-ready IT operations. Make sure to stop by and see what’s new in OSCAR.

Let’s talk in Barcelona!

Whether you’re looking to:

  • strengthen yourcompany’s cybersecurity and compliance,
  • gain control over your global device landscape, or
  • simplify IT operations with managed services,

we’d love to connect.

👉 Contact us to book a meeting in advance or simply drop by our stand CS318 to see OSCAR live and explore how we support organizations end to end.
